Benedikt works as Head of the Data Platform of the Capital City of Prague. He is in charge of team leadership and development, public project presentation, communication with project partners and the city council, and managing key data projects. It focuses on creating a community around open data and linking users and publishers of public data. Prior to joining the ICT Operator, he worked as a manager of the open data project of the Ministry of Finance, which received many awards for its benefits in the field of open data and transparency. Benedikt himself was awarded the Křištálová Lupa Award for Open Data. He also devoted himself to the Department of Public Procurement and Financial Management in the Public Sector. In the past, he also worked as a consultant in IT & Management consulting and market research. He studied theoretical economics with a focus on mathematics, statistics and econometrics at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University in Prague.
